Documents
Keep your project files together and organize them around the way your team works.
Use Documents as your project's file repository. Drawings, reports, specifications, and contracts can sit alongside the questions and decisions they support.
Start by uploading a PDF or image. Give it a useful title, choose its type, and add tags so your team can find it again. Saved files and their details also contribute to the context available to Breeks AI.
The type
Document types are categories your project can extend. In Project settings → Document types, choose New to add a category, name it, and choose an icon. You can edit or archive types as your needs change.
For example, a team can organize files into Drawings, Site reports, and Contracts. These categories use the same document details; custom fields are currently available on record types.
Keep the context with the file
A document brings together its file, details, tags, comments, and links to records. On drawing pages, markup identifies the exact place a discussion concerns.
Useful titles, document numbers, and tags help people find the right information. Save explanations and answers alongside the file so their meaning survives the conversation.
Drawing revisions keep their history
Drawing revisions have their own files, comments, and marks. An RFI linked to Rev C keeps pointing to Rev C after Rev D becomes current.
Drawing comparison and revision history are specific to the drawing type. See revision control.
