Use Breeks in WhatsApp
Request an RFI and respond to follow-ups from your team's chat.
Your Breeks administrator must enable WhatsApp. Verify your personal WhatsApp by sending the private command from Verify my WhatsApp, then confirm your account in the browser. A project manager connects the group using a connection code. You must already be a project member; verification grants no additional access. Administrator setup is in the technical reference.
New to Breeks
If you do not have an account, message the Breeks number privately, reply JOIN, then send your email address. Breeks creates your account with a Default project and emails you a sign-in link for the web app. Open that link to confirm your email. Send /login in the chat whenever you need a new sign-in link.
Request an RFI
In a connected project group, address Breeks explicitly:
/breeks Raise an RFI for the duct conflict at Level 3
A real WhatsApp mention of the bot works too. Typing its name as ordinary text does not trigger a request.
Breeks acknowledges the request and replies in the same group, including draft previews, follow-up questions and drawing choices. Only the requester can confirm actions or choose a drawing. Each member keeps a separate conversation history.
Choose the project and drawing
In a direct message, Breeks selects your only eligible project automatically. If you have several, reply to the project menu with /project NUMBER, wait for confirmation, then send your request again. Send /project to change projects.
When drawing choices arrive in a group, reply /breeks choose CODE NUMBER or /breeks skip CODE. In a private chat, use choose CODE NUMBER or skip CODE. Choices expire after 30 minutes; open the web conversation if they are no longer valid.
Add evidence
You can attach a JPEG, PNG, WebP, or PDF up to 15 MiB. Describe the issue in your message: Breeks uses your written explanation, and attachments are saved as evidence rather than imported into the drawing library.
Receive drawing files
Breeks includes relevant image previews with completed document answers, up to three documents. The text keeps links to the exact drawing revisions. With no referenced page, the preview shows page one as an overview.
Ask for a PDF explicitly:
/breeks Send the original PDF for ME-L3-001 revision B
For an excerpt or saved markup, use:
/breeks Send pages 2 and 3 of that drawing as a PDF
/breeks Show MARK-17 as an image
/breeks Send page 2 with all saved marks
Files return to the same DM or project group after the text reply. Each file can be up to 15 MiB. A selected PDF can contain up to 20 pages, and an explicit request can produce up to 10 images. Say links only or no attachments to omit files. Breeks asks for clarification when the document, page, or mark is ambiguous.
Respond to follow-ups
Use the code from the private reminder:
- ack CODE acknowledges it.
- snooze CODE defers it.
- status CODE in_progress requests a status change.
- confirm CODE or reject CODE responds to a proposal.
For proposals requested in a group, use /breeks confirm CODE or /breeks reject CODE in that same group. Reminders remain private. Posting a draft preview does not publish the record.
